I was finally approved on Amazon. I saw a need from working really closely with Breast Cancer survivors during Breast Cancer Month 2019. One of the themes I kept hearing from these women was the amount of time spent waiting. Waiting to respond to treatment, waiting for doctor's appointments and the amount of time spent alone. Well, adult coloring books are on trend and the intricate designs are considered stress relieving.

How did this happen, I went to a conference in January and sat in a session with
Crystal Swain-Bates
and I really connected with her. My biggest takeaway from her was really EVERYTHING but I will break it down to 3 things.
1. You don't have to always make a book for your target audience. She has books for black girls, but also white women and more, etc. She has different books listed under different names.
2. You do not have to make it difficult. Pay an artist from Fiverr, Upwork, 99 designs, creative Facebook groups, etc.
3. Amazon KDP will print and ship for you.
I took this time to dive into my creative side and it paid off greatly.
