Album Review: Spodee 'The Rose 2'

There was a bit of a wait but finally, the homie Spodee delivers 'The Rose 2'. He drops off 19 slabs on this one.
Of course, the sound is really thick with dept in the production and melodic carryovers in the lyrical content. He's being the voice for the voiceless so it can be dark at times but this is needed to accomplish his mission. With life's ups and downs of the young Black men in the hood, projects, and slums, someone has to give you a view of their movie that somehow never makes it to the theaters.

Remnants of Scarface's Smile is a very high point on the record as it's very nostalgic and delivered in a respectable manner to pay homage to the Legendary Southern Rap God. It also has the contemporary feel to be current.

All around we love the record. Definitely ended the album right with 'Respect'. That shit cold-blooded. Check it out for yourself and let us know what you think in the comment section.
