Recently, I cleared my schedule to go back home to visit my family. It was a surprise so nobody knew! As soon as I saw my family, I allowed social media to know that I took a trip. My phones started going off like crazy because everyone wanted to hang out. I understand they all missed me but this trip was different, This trip wasn't for them; it was for my family. Many were upset but I honestly didn't care.
With everything going on right now, I focused on my family and I was very happy with my decision. When I think back, yes I had a lot of friends and fans but NOBODY was there for me like my family. They will always be first and my number one priority. If you are blessed to have family in your life, cherish them, check in on them, visit and remind them how much you appreciate them.
