Police in Bogota, Columbia shocked a father of two to death despite him making pleas for them to stop. This sparked violent protests. An example of "unacceptable police brutality" is how Bogota Mayor Claudia Lopez described the incident from her perspective.
These are big and tragic events out of Colombia last night.

Amid protests and riots over killing of man by police, there are:
7 dead (how many of those killed by police?)
39 police bases/modules attacked, 12 of the them burned
55 civilians in hospital https://t.co/AYjuZs7JDF
This happened early Wednesday morning when police say Javier Humberto Ordonez was drinking alcohol in the street violating social distancing rules associated with curbing the coronavirus.

In the viral video, Ordonez is subjected to repeated shocks while pinned to the ground by two officers while begging, "please, no more."
He was then taken to the police station where his family states he was subjected to more abuse. He later died in the hospital.
