By now we know you all are aware of the untimely death of our brother Chadwick Boseman. This is definitely a shocker and a major tug at the hearts of those of us in Black America. This man was a symbol of Black Excellence with each and every role he played in cinema. From 42, Get On Up, to Black Panther which catapulted him into superstardom we fell in love with how he represented us in such a positive and powerful way.
He was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2016 but managed to deliver amazing bodies of work under those circumstances. He lost the battle to cancer on August 28, 2020, at 43 years of age.
We are all saddened and 2020 has definitely dealt some heavy blows to the Black community. But in his honor, we will keep pushing. He showed us through even the worse disease known to man that you can still exert Black Excellence with class and poise. RIP Chadwick. You're forever in our hearts.
