Taylor Swift moves to re-brand album merch after being outed for stealing from Black owned business

America's "sweetheart" has allegedly been caught stealing from a Black-owned business. Of course, this is nothing new here in this country. For centuries we have been the inventors and innovators of the things we enjoy and use for convenience to this day and never got the credit or recognition for because of the likes of the ancestors of Taylor Swift. She's just following in their footsteps basically.

In this situation, a claim was made about The Floklore's logo being used for her album merch and it seems as if she and her team were not exposed, they most likely would've gone ahead with the theft and used this business' logo to make millions.

This morning, it came to my attention that musician #TaylorSwift is selling merchandise to go along with her new album ‘Folklore’. She is currently selling merchandise with the words "The Folklore" printed on them. Based on the similarities of the design, I believe the designer of the merch ripped off my company's logo. I am sharing my story to bring light to the trend of large companies/celebrities copying the work of small minority-owned business owners. I am not going to let this blatant theft go unchecked.
