First of all, there are so many layers to this man that we'd need to write a book on what he's done and created for the music world. This man single handedly paved the way for the biggest Black stars in music history. His style was in your face, loud, majorly enthusiastic, creative, and the first ever seen in the world. EVER.
To this day, his hit records Tutti Frutti, Long Tall Sally, Rip It Up, Good Golly Miss Molly, and Lucille to name a few still drive the adrenaline to get up and move. One of the prettiest men to hit the scene in his time, he created a culture of style that the ladies couldn't resist. He's the reason for major Icons like the late Prince.
Check out this article in Rolling Stone about his life and legacy. We've lost yet another Black King that innovated a wave for the world to follow. He was copied but appreciated because honestly, he didn't play that shit. You were gonna give him his due.
