Bomani Jones wore a Cleveland 'Caucasians' t-shirt on ESPN

By:  | April 7, 2016 9:46 am

Bomani Jones is never one to shy away from a statement, and on ESPN on Thursday morning he made one by wearing a shirt that said Caucasians along with a logo looking like the Indians’ Chief Wahoo.

The statement should be clear enough: It’s easier to see how offensive something is to a race when it’s your race. White people can claim the Indians’ Chief Wahoo isn’t offensive, but when forced to look at a name and logo of Caucasians with a crude caricature, it hits home.
The t-shirts have been around a while, sold at Shelf Life Clothing, though I’m pretty sure this is the first time they’ve made their way onto ESPN.
May we add that we fuckin love the shirt? No? Yeah!
