I had to see the tape before I actually believed it. But it was true. What Action Bronson said on ESPN's Sports Nation well exceeds the criteria need to be considered a shot. It was a critique disguised in a back handed compliment. Initially when asked about the comparison to GhostfaceAction Bronson said that, "I'm just glad it's one of the greats." Then he followed up with, "He's not rappin' like this no more... He needs somethin'. He needs somethin'." That last part, "He needs something" is gonna be the part that cost Action Bronson big time in my estimation. If anybody knows anything about the Wu, it's that they have a radar for slick shit. They're always analyzing what's being said to them and about them. This wasn't some random DJ's podcast, this was ESPN. That's the largest audience on cable TV. When Ghost hears this he'll probably screw his face up, close his eyes and immediately start crafting an "Ether" Action Bronson was correct when he said that Ghost hasn't dropped any classic music in a while but he has twenty more hits than he'll ever have. Now he has an audience of faithful 1990's rap heads and Wu Tang Clan disciples waiting for a response. The thirst level is on high. I just can't see any scenario where Ghost lets this ride. I just cant see it. Get in the comment box and let me know what you think about Action Bronson firing shots a Ghostface Killah on ESPN??
