What makes you smile? What makes you laugh? Are you happy? We live such a fast-paced life that we don't notice small things. Before you know it, the whole day has gone by and you don't remember if you even smiled today. Throughout the day we make sure people are at our jobs are happy, clients, partners & kids but what about self?
Yes, many of us have been taught to be selfless but we were also taught to take care of ourselves. Apart from taking care of yourself is making sure that you're happy. I always remind my readers to do something just for them. Even if it's just taking a moment to read a book, listen to your favorite music, or eat your favorite ice cream. If you can't give yourself a few minutes then you have bigger issues to deal with. Don't forget about yourself. They need you but you need you too!
