Jeezy Releases "The Recession 2"

 For those of us who were in the heart of pain-filled money restricted streets in 2008, we were presented with one of Hip Hop's most necessary albums of all time. Jeezy's The Recession touched the hearts of the masses as it spoke to the current state of affairs in our nation for Black people coming off of a Bush presidency, going into that of President Obama.

This record was glaring from cars, homes, traps, and being chirped about as the Boost Mobile chirp phone was the popular way of communicating at that time before smartphones came to the hands of dumb people.

The OG took to social media and an interview with The Breakfast Club to announce the sequel to this iconic record. "The Recession 2" slated for a November 20th release is definitely what we need at this time in this nation to address the affairs of our people. We are excited about this album and hopes that its impact would be as huge as it was 12 years ago although that may be hard to top.
