We can all agree that since the release of NASIR in 2018, there has been a void that the big homie Nas needed to fill. That EP was met with mixed reviews but it didn't meet the standard of what we're used to from Esco. It felt rushed and not well thought out.
Well, we have to wait no further. Nas teamed up with Hit-Boy to deliver King's Disease and it fills that void. This project has all the elements of what a Nas record provides for the soul.
You can rest assured that this is another classic to add to his catalog and one of the best Hip Hop records of 2020. The pro-Black empowering words with love and appreciation for our beautiful Black Queens is such a necessary vibe right now. With so much coming at us as a whole, the music must reflect the state of the Black diaspora. Take it all in and let it fuel your inner being. It's time to take our culture back. Fuck Doja Cat.
