We've been in wait since 2018 for a Trouble album and the wait is over.
There are artists who on the surface seem authentic in what they spit but when you scratch the surface, they're thin as a sheet of paper. That's not the case with Trouble. You can feel the authenticity of his music. He expresses a lot of love for his dawgs throughout this record, hence the title 'Thug Luv'. When you get into this record you understand why it would take 2 years to bring us another full body of work as he seems more about quality over quantity. This is to be appreciated.
The cameos are lit as well. He has appearances from 2 Chainz, Quavo, Boosie Bad Azz, Jacquees, Jeezy, The City Girls, and Scalez.
Though he makes sure to show love to his dawgs, he does not leave the ladies out. Tracks like 'FN' and 'She's A Winner' target them as no real man could do a whole album and leave them babies out.
Overall this record meets the standards of a solid project.
