These days it's hard to heal because we are constantly running away from the one thing that heals us........which is love. The hardest thing for anyone to do is receive love. Even when we are constantly giving it away we still have a hard time receiving it. The media and society make it seem like its impossible to heal ourselves. They are constantly feeding our minds with prescription
drugs on commercials. As if we need to pop a pill to feel good. We all know love and happiness comes from within.

Love heals all wounds. Love takes time. It doesn't matter if it's you loving yourself or loving someone else. It's all the same. Love is just love. It's nothing more or nothing less.

A lot of times people can't be alone not because they are afraid of being by themselves but afraid to love themselves. We look at our flaws and mistakes as if its the worst thing to face. We were taught that we should be ashamed of our flaws. Flaws are meant to be embraced. We are all a work in progress. We have to learn to accept and love ourselves for who we are.

That's where true healing begins with yourself. Once we learn to embrace who we are from within our outside world changes. We will begin to embrace, love and accept people for who they are. Everything starts with self as I always state in these blogs.

A lot of times we go through pain in our lives that we tend to run away from the one thing that heals us, love. We run away from relationships and ourselves just because we are afraid to love again. Healing takes time and it's a process. Every day is a new day and your a new person.

A year changes you a lot. So just imagine how much you are changing every day and every second. Sometimes it can feel we aren't changing, but we are. We are always moving forward and never backward. Time only moves forward and so do you. Just trust your process and open yourself up to healing.

We have to learn to sit with our feelings because our feelings need to be heard. It needs to be acknowledged so that you can heal. It's like a newborn baby that is constantly crying. If you keep ignoring the baby, the baby won't stop crying. You have to nurture the baby. So we have to learn to nurture our feelings so that we can truly heal and move on with our life.
