These days it's hard to heal because we are constantly running away from the one thing that heals us........which is love. The hardest thing for anyone to do is receive love. Even when we are constantly giving it away we still have a hard time receiving it. The media and society make it seem like its impossible to heal ourselves. They are constantly feeding our minds with prescription
drugs on commercials. As if we need to pop a pill to feel good. We all know love and happiness comes from within.

You don't want to pay your bills on time? Fuck it. You want to quit your job? Fuck it. You want to walk away from your relationship? Fuck it. You want to smoke weed? Fuck it.

Sometimes we give so much that we tend to empty our own glass. Always constantly putting others before our own needs. We so busy trying to save others that we forget to save ourselves. So we are constantly feeling empty and trying to find ways to fill our cup. We look outside ourselves to fill that empty cup. We constantly chase illusions that we feel is the answer. We chase after money like it is the answer. Sometimes we have to pull back and take a break. We run off energy. Just like a cell phone that needs to be recharged, we also need to be recharged.

Just Being Marie: Living Life the Non-Traditional Way

Our entire life we always think that we have to live life in a certain in order to feel like we are on the RIGHT track. Over my journey, I have learned that there is no right or wrong way to live. We were conditioned to think that we have to get a diploma, go to college, get a career, then fall in love, get married and then start a family. If that's the case my ass is way off. Right after graduating from high school I had my first child at 19 and two years later my second child. I didn't have a degree or a career at the time. So I use to always feel that getting married was next for me because I had two children, but it didn't work that way.
