Father's Day is around the corner and as a society, we have to do better. We always hear people talking about not growing up with a dad or he wasn't there but what about the rest of you? Some of you have been blessed to have your dad's still active in your lives. Shout out to even the father figures who respectfully step in because of their love for you.
Dads and fathers that are trying their best, sacrificing, and doing what they can; need to be praised. Treat them to that steak and potatoes dinner; buy the gifts they ACTUALLY want and make them feel special.
They deserve love and appreciation as well. Men are taught to be strong and not to wear their emotions on their sleeves but let's be real. Many of them are sad when their kids don't call, visit, or even think of them on this day even if they don't say it.
Let's make an effort to do better. The ones who truly deserve it would appreciate it more than you know. So to all the dads and father figures out there who truly represent; I want to say Happy Father's Day!
