French Montana "Montana"

As expected the homie French Montana delivers a well put together album. There's literally something on this record for everyone.

It's refreshing to be a part of his growth and to have seen him come from where he started to where he is now. Seemingly humbled by his experiences, he doesn't hold back his energy and hones in on his vibe.

A French Montana record is an acquired taste. With a heavy Morrocan accent his style and delivery are unorthodox to the point at times he has to have the most basic flow possible to get his point across. He is also proficient with melodic tones. At this point, he has mastered what he does.

There are moments on this album reminiscent of early 90s Hip Hop like Das Efx and tributes to 3-6 Mafia on joints like "'50s and 100's" featuring Juicy J. Also you get the world music sound with tracks like "Writing on the wall" featuring Post Malone and Cardi B.

Other cameos include Kodak Black, Kevin Gates, Swae Lee, Chinx (R.I.P), Max B, Chris Brown, Drake, City Girls, BlurFace, Logic, A$ap Rocky, Quavo, a crazy joint with Belly, Gunna and Rvssian.
