Being from the era that produced "Flava in ya ear" and the album "Project: Funk the world" we did appreciate the big homie's contribution to Hip Hop at the time.
It was a time when Hip Hop culture was swarming with lyricists who loved the craft and had the content to move you to be great along with crazy metaphors.

Craig Mack was one of the pioneers of that movement in the early Bad Boy days and left behind a legacy based on that one record. Always been well respected and honored.
The big homie passed away at a hospital his home in Walterboro, SC around 9pm 3/12/2018 from natural causes. The world has lost another powerful black man. May he Rest in Paradise.
