I gotta say that Toronto is on a roll. The artist comin from there have their own sound and have quickly carved their own lane in the music industry. Jazz Cartier is no different. "Hotel Paranoia" is marinated in clean production that's just right and he glides over the tracks with an original and structured flow. The merge of the melodies and his vocals create an eargasm for the listener throughout the tape with content that provokes thought. Also he has that finesse for the ladies that every body of work should have. Best of all, no trap shit. That shit is rapidly playin out as with most rappers there is no authenticity so they wind up regurgitating the same shit they hear all other trap niggas spit thus becoming a fuckin zombie.
