Her voice is a force. A powerful source of passion to be injected into our souls via our ears. You can't deny the beauty of her sound and what it does to you when you encounter it. Ya just gotta let it flow through you.

There's a lot more that can be said of this body of work but the objective of this article/interview is to bring you closer to the genius behind the music.

With her foot in the industry she has managed to work with Grammy Award winning & nominated Producers such as; Megaman, Boi-1DA (Drake, Nicki Minaj), Chuck Harmony (Ne-Yo, Mary J. Blige), Harvey Mason, Jr. (Beyoncé, Brandy Aretha Franklin), The Monarch (Rita Ora, Cher Lloyd), Rock City (Rihanna, Usher), The Phatboiz (Yo Gotti), alongside her management team Ebony Sons (DTP) I mean this woman's resume is loaded. One could easy see how her impact on R&B IS and WILL BE something major!

We are just sitting on Cloud 29 with the fact that we are part of her climb and building a relationship with her so early on because you know we here at Apex Coture are family oriented and consider our people Royalty. That she is.

With her classically trained voice, distinctive mainstream sound and noticeable R&B influence she's most intriguing up and coming young artists out of Toronto, Canada a city of which has spawned great names like Drake, The Weeknd and Tory Lanez. You can now add Haley Smalls to that roster. Looks like Da 6ix is Canada's Atlanta.

But peep this, In January 2014, Grammy award winning and multi-platinum selling artist Beyoncé Knowles showed her approval of Smalls’ YouTube cover of ‘Pretty Hurts’ by sharing the video on her Facebook page stating she “loved it”. Since, Smalls’ cover went viral and has reached over one million views and still growing. I mean c'mon, an endorsement from the Queen Bey. You know that's a BIG DEAL. Beyonce knows the gifted being that she is that herself.

Without losing any momentum, Smalls became a part of the formation of a new production and writing team, The Startaz lead by one of Toronto’s most accomplished producers – Megaman (Lil Wayne, Birdman, Tyga, Drake, Kid Ink, Bow Wow, Yo Gotti).
