As a Florida native I feel it's my duty to give an Apex Coture clearance on this new Travis Porter project. Of course you know the Original 2 Live Crew hails from Miami, Fl. while Travis Porter is from Decatur, Ga.
There is a major difference between a Florida nigga and a Georgia nigga let's make that clear but as the 2 Live Crew were more controversial bc in that time they were opening the door for groups like TP to do what they doin. So these young guys don't face the opposition that 2LC did.
But in all it is good to see the young homies bring back the legacy of the legendary duo and pay homage to the movement started so long ago. The mixtape is bumpin and raunchy but I don't know if it can be as raunchy as 2LC. Idk... Take a listen for yourself and make your own judgement. S/o to Travis Porter you have Apex Coture's Stamp of Approval and we gon bump this shit in appreciation!!
