Beyoncé and Jay-Z together? Call it the ‘Mr. and Mrs. Carter Show.’

So, Blue Ivy will be the opening act, right?
The First Couple of Hip-Hop is going on tour. Together.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z are planning to announce a 20-stadium U.S. tour that will start in late June, the New York Post reports. Page Six also states that the Knowles-Carters, as they’re officially known, may perform in New York on July 4. It would be the power couple’s first tour together.
Beyoncé just ended her year-long “Mrs. Carter Show World Tour” and Jay-Z concluded his “Magna Carter World Tour.” They appeared onstage at Coachella with other acts —Bey with her sister, Solange, and Jay with Nas and Diddy. Earlier this year, the duo steamed up the opening of the Grammys with a performance of “Drunk in Love,” from Bey’s latest album, ”BEYONCÉ.”
Accolades from Forbes and Billboard naming them the most influential couple in the music industry confirmed their status as cultural juggernauts.
Beyoncé, who is the cover girl for Out magazine’s May power issue, has been more forthcoming than ever about her relationship with the rapper. The couple was famously guarded about it for years; Beyoncé was even cagey about confirming to Oprah Winfrey that she married Jay-Z in a secret wedding in 2008. The couple has a two-year old daughter, Blue Ivy.
Her “visual album,” “BEYONCÉ,” which she released as a surprise in December, is an opus to sex-positive feminism and a celebration of her relationship with Jay-Z. Even on songs where he’s not featured, his voice backs her up. Jay never says a word in the video for “Partition,” but his presence is undeniable. The two were spotted in December dropping $6,000 at Babeland, a New York sex-toy shop.
“There is unbelievable power in ownership, and women should own their sexuality,” she told Out. “There is a double standard when it comes to sexuality that still persists. Men are free and women are not. That is crazy. The old lessons of submissiveness and fragility made us victims. Women are so much more than that. You can be a businesswoman, a mother, an artist, and a feminist — whatever you want to be — and still be a sexual being. It’s not mutually exclusive.”
She spoke about their relationship in her HBO documentary, “Life is But a Dream.”
He’s taught me so much about being an artist. Not a musician but an artist. And fighting for what I believe and having my standards. He doesn’t compromise his art. I used to be afraid of people thinking I was too difficult or too critical but I don’t care about that anymore as long as it is for the right reasons, and I learned that from him.
I just pray that Jay and I stay a team because right now we are really connected and are really communicating well and completely understand each other. This baby has made me love him more than I thought I could love another human being. I love him so much. We almost feel like one, I just don’t know how to describe it. I hope I remember this when the baby comes, and it gets tough because it’s going to be an adjustment. This feeling is so beautiful. It’s every woman’s dream to feel this way about someone.
